  • You may take a pain killer like Tylenol 30-45 min before. You can take Ibuprofen/Aspirin but it is a blood thinner.      d minimize bumps and irritation afterwards. A lot of women and men opt for this service because they like the feeling of the entire bikini area being totally, or almost hair-free. While you need to be cautious any time you remove hair, because of its specialty nature, it should be treated with extra care.
  • Make sure you have enough hair to be waxed. The length should be ¼ of an inch, which is about the length of a grain of rice. So about 10-14 days of no shaving.

  • Know exactly what you want. This service removes hair from the behind and between your legs. Sometimes a strip of hair or triangle is left in the front. Don't be afraid to communicate exactly how much hair you want gone.
  • A little pain.Everyone is different in their pain tolerance, but some discomfort is generally expected.
  • The hair will remain gone for about 2 weeks then grow for 1-2 weeks. So Maintenance is to wax every 3-4 weeks with no shaving/tweezing in-between.

Post Treatment

  • Watch your fashion choices. Don't wear tight pants or panties for the next few days.
  • Avoid working out/sweating after service for 24 hours to help keep bacteria down.
  • Don't get too hot. No tanning beds, saunas or steam rooms for the next 24 hours.
  • Exfoliate. Two full days later, if there isn't any redness use a mild exfoliator. This helps prevent ingrown hair.  Use a bath Poof to gently exfoliate skin. Can use dry brush or exfoliating glove to gently slough off the dead skin every few days. Fight the bumps.
  • If you get any ingrown hairs try a serum I have works fantastic to prevent and heal ingrown's.
  • Maintain waxing every 3-4 weeks. It will help reduce unwanted hair growth as well as the discomfort you may have experienced the first appointment.
  • The more you wax regularly the thinner the hair will be, so it will be easier to wax.

If you have never had a Brazilian wax before then you will be in good hands, she has a way for it to not hurt like other places and keeps you  distracted with conversation.
